Coming up on March 18th we'll be hosting Adam Macaulay of CorsasWorks. He'll be discussing SharePoint designer for 2010 and the implementation’s of it.



Abstract:

There has been a bitter sweet relationship with Designers and SharePoint Designer, or how I will always remember it, FrontPage, for some years. But what can you expect from the new version. How do we manage pages, content types, site columns, workflow, data sources, lists, permissions, and sites with the new SP2010? How can administrators control access to it? That’s just designer though, what about the Managed MetaData Application Service and how does it affect me? By learning its strengths and weaknesses you can make the informed decision about when it should or should not be used.
