Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) Project Manager

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) Project Manager for large-scale federal (DoD) consulting opportunities. 

Job description:
Manage team of Microsoft Office SharePoint professionals responsible for the development and implementation of SharePoint solutions.  Work closely with clients on large-scale collaboration & content management projects. 

Prepare project plans, WBS, schedule, risk assessments, etc. for large scale SharePoint implementations.  Monitor and control project to its successful completion.  Ensure terms of contract and all deliverables are consistently met.  Identify and communicate risks to project quality, scope, and schedule.

Communicate and present concepts and deliverables to clients.  Prepare budgets and other financial reports. Prepare and deliver status reports to client and management.

Other duties may include conducting training, mentoring junior team members, and responding to end-user trouble tickets.

Qualifications and Experience:

SharePoint Project Managers should have experience leading SharePoint Server 2003 or 2007 implementations and have a strong knowledge of the entire Microsoft SharePoint platform. 

Strong business-analysis experience and/or feature-set analysis experience.  Experience conducting task flow analysis, building user experience models, scenarios, interaction flows.

10+ years experience working with Microsoft products and managing Microsoft implementations. 
Experience in website project management and administration a plus. Experience with software development and project management tools and methodologies

Must possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate upward, sideways, and downward throughout the organization.  Excellent problem solving skills, strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of team are all a must.

Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent experience. 

Must be U.S. citizen.  Security clearance preferred.  Must be eligible and willing to obtain clearance if do not already possess.

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) Administrator

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) Administrator for large-scale federal (DoD) consulting opportunities. 

Job description:

Provide core infrastructure support for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) solutions.  This includes hardware, storage, software, and licenses and maintenance, upgrade and replacement as appropriate to ensure optimal performance. 

Manage SharePoint security, accounts, access and permissions.  Perform backup and recovery.  Research, propose, and implement system enhancements that will improve the security, reliability, and performance of the SharePoint infrastructure. 

Develop and implement SharePoint Server administration standards and best practices for organization.  Maintain SharePoint administration procedures and manuals.

Maintain awareness of trends within Microsoft Server and SharePoint technologies. 

Other duties may include some database administration, software license and media management, and responding to end-user trouble tickets.

Qualifications and Experience:

Microsoft Office SharePoint Administrators must have experience administering SharePoint Server 2003 or SharePoint Server 2007 and have a solid knowledge of the entire Microsoft SharePoint platform.  Administrators must have the ability to work with .NET developers to develop custom solutions.   Also required is a very strong Microsoft Server background and experience implementing and supporting networked computing environments including directories, messaging, collaboration, and application architecture.

5+ years of experience working with Microsoft networks.   Demonstrated expertise in Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, intranet and internet networking with TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, routing and switching, etc.   Experience securing Windows servers and setting security policies is essential. 

Experience in website administration is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent experience. 

Must be a U.S. citizen.  Security clearance preferred.  Must be eligible and willing to obtain clearance if do not already possess.

Skills/Certification Required:

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) Developer for large-scale federal (DoD) consulting opportunities. 
 
Job description:
Build web portals and integrate business applications using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.  Develop tools and components using SharePoint and .NET technologies including, but not limited to, custom web parts, configuring workflows, defining lists, and connecting disparate applications/data.
       
Maintain existing implementation of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.
 
Maintain awareness of trends within SharePoint technologies. 
 
Other duties may include some database administration and responding to end-user trouble tickets.
 
Qualifications and Experience:
Microsoft Office SharePoint Developers should have experience developing SharePoint Server 2003 or SharePoint Server 2007 solutions and have a strong knowledge of the entire Microsoft SharePoint platform.  Strong experience in .Net technologies is required.
 
5+ years IT consulting experience with focus on working on large scale implementations. Solid full life cycle software application development background required.
 
Knowledge of Business Intelligence is a plus.
