JOB SUMMARY:
As the Senior SharePoint Developer Engineer for the Air Nation Guard’s (ANG) SharePoint 2007 to 2010 upgrade, rearchitecture/design, and deployment contract you will use your training, skills and professionalism to provide ANG the SharePoint upgrade and deployment developer expertise working on a team consisting of architecture, SQL DBA and IA engineers. The effort will require initial requirements gathering travel up 75% of the time, then establish 10-15% travel during design, deployment and training within the CONUS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrated experience in some or all of the following:
Team with and lead the design, development, customization and integration efforts of DoD SharePoint solutions involving collaboration, portals, enterprise search, business process and templates
Ensure defined task are within budget and schedule
Review and analyze existing and new business and functional requirements, in support of prototype and proof of concept lab and pilot deployment efforts.
Ability to methodically identify and scale SharePoint client requirements with a framed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), integrating with other WBS SharePoint deployment requirements.
Team player creating development integration implementation requirement plans, taking into account architecture and data development requirements
Create custom Web parts for required site elements using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net
Create custom controls using ASP.NET

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Senior SharePoint DBA will be required to gather existing DB and architecture information (SharePoint 2007) for the Air National Guard (ANG). QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years of SharePoint Services administration and maintenance experience (for large enterprises) required.
