As the Senior SharePoint Developer Engineer for the Air Nation Guard’s (ANG) SharePoint 2007 to 2010 upgrade, rearchitecture/design, and deployment contract you will use your training, skills and professionalism to provide ANG the SharePoint upgrade and deployment developer expertise working on a team consisting of architecture, SQL DBA and IA engineers. The effort will require initial requirements gathering travel up 75% of the time, then establish 10-15% travel during design, deployment and training within the CONUS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrated experience in some or all of the following:

Description The Senior SharePoint DBA will be required to gather existing DB and architecture information (SharePoint 2007) for the Air National Guard (ANG). Based on the determination of SharePoint 2010 user requirements, the Senior SharePoint DBA will perform backend DB design and capacity management requirements, and provide recommendations to SharePoint Architects and Developers.
This position will provide SharePoint 2010 DB requirement expertise to a team consisting of Architects, Developers, a DBA, and an IA engineer. The position requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to quickly provide DB SharePoint solutions by mapping common client business problems to end-to-end technology solutions, including the incorporation of DRP capability. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform assigned tasks within budget and schedule.
