We have a few ways to support recruiters looking for new hires. However to keep the noise to a minimum we have some specific goals in passing the word around. BSPUG runs solely off of sponsorships or the leaders paying for items such as food on a monthly basis. As a result to try to offset those costs we ask vendors who are looking for new talent to sponsor the BSPUG in order to post job openings.
It's usually a hard sell because for a sponsor putting up a few hundred bucks to find fill one req isn't always a good decision. However through the sponsorship you get to post as much as you want (as long as it's SharePoint related) that in turn gets pushed to our members on a bi monthly basis. You can post for as long as the sponsorship you decide on acquiring lasts (3 months 6/12 etc)
As well it helps create a reputation in the community. What recruiters are having a challenging time understanding is that the SharePoint market, isn't like the average tech market. There is WAY more demand for people than exist that said, GOOD SharePoint people are pretty picky and usually have 3-4 running offers. A better reputation lends to repeat business and new hires. (we've seen it first hand).
